I have in my library a book called, 'Jesus Prophet of Islam' a revised edition by Muhammad'Ata ur-Rahim and Ahmad Thomson.
Library of Congress Catalog Number 91-066699
I do not know the Dewey numbers but the book can be gotten from any Library.
I would like to bring to oyur attention, one Chapter in the Book.

Not true. Jesus holds no special place for Jews. In fact, many say he never existed at all.

And many Jews do believe that He existed, was executed, and given divine status by others. Jews believe that His teachings are good, but they do not accept Him as divine in any sense.

Then there are many things here.

First, you say "many Jews"...we are not talking about the individual beliefs of a few, but the religion as a whole. Judaism as a religion does not recognize Jesus...period.

Second, there are some Jews who are Christian and some who are even Muslim, Buddhist, etc. The term "Jew" not only means a religion, but also a nationality. In fact, most Arabs are not fighting Jews as a matter of religion, but as a matter of nationality.

There may be some Jews who view the teachings of Jesus as "good", but there are many who believe they never existed. I would believe that very few people could read the teachings of Jesus and not see them as "good"...just as there are very few who could read the teachings of Buddha, Confucius, or Lao Tzu and not see them as "good". It means nothing.

Good teachings does not mean that the teacher is Divine, although it may. Perhaps we are all Divine...it's just that some of us are better listeners and more consistent than others.
