Default ACORN plans to disrupt Tea Parties

ACORN, HuffPo Organizing Efforts to Infiltrate Tax Day Tea Parties

Acts of protest tend to be synonymous with the left and are usually considered unsurprising on the right. However, when conservatives demonstrate – liberals take notice in a big way.

On Fox News Channel’s April 7 “Your World,” host Neil Cavuto reported that the Tax Day tea party protests on April 15 will be “infiltrated” by their political opponents and led by left-wing activist organizations. He specifically named Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).

Did you mean "surprising"?

The right hardly ever does acts of protest. The fact that the tea parties are happening should be major news. However, I've heard several major media spokespeople saying they don't even plan to cover them. They just aren't interested in anything the right has to say.

The presence of an ACORN counterprotest, however, will get their attention. And ACORN's protests will probably be given the greater coverage.

It's not a counter protest. It's infiltration.

They assume the position of the protesters, join in, and then throw stuff at police. Then the news reports a bunch of violent wackos attacked the police, as the police bust heads.

It's an ancient tactic. It was used in Seattle in the 1990's at a WTO summit protest, by US government agents. Blood spilled everywhere.

It was also used in the 60s by socialist/communists, who infiltrated and influenced the college students who were protesting the war.

It works, too. The average American sees it and turns on the "authentic" protestors.

I think it will be fairly obvious if the looney people from Acorn infiltrate the groups at the tea parties. It will be like trying to spot the stalk of corn in the bowl of onions. Twp completely different types of people.

I am looking forward to the one in the city next saturday.

I have been to a Hannity show, and a Beck show,. The people I have met were terrific people and share alot of my concerns and values. It is nice to see others who are like minded joining a cause.

Philadelphia Tea Party.

Quote:
Obama campaign’s unpaid bills to the city of Philadelphia for events it held in October and November 2008. The bills were for the same types of city services that the Tea Party protesters would be charged for using — electricity for sound, lighting, clean-up, etc.

Obama stiffed the city for nearly $24,000 for at least four months. I called the city’s Managing Director Office’ events coordinator, Mechelle Sabb, who told me the Obama bill was finally paid.

So…the Tea Party folks have to fork up their fee up front, but the Obama campaign can get away with playing deadbeat for months? There’s your brotherly love.

The problem has been resolved. “We are permitted to bring a PA system and a generator.” Thank you for your help!

Daggone, why do they have to be in the middle of the day? Although I must admit I despise crowds...

Aren't the tea parties themselves disruptive? How can you fault someone for disrupting disruption?

And Blocker, the "infiltration" comment, you are FUNNY!!! Everything with you has to be combat...

The tea parties are meaningless and stupid wastes of time. But hey, if morons want to waste their time on such nonsense, why not just let them. It is pure entertainment!!

Perhaps.

But then again, maybe not. I enjoy meeting people with similar values and beliefs as I hold. As people get together who share a common interest, they may cultivate friendships that could last a lifetime. They also may find enough strength and wisdom in that group, that the group swells and has more people join their way of thinking, eventually they are a big enough voice, that they matter.

Either way, I like the idea. I will invest the few hours. I may meet new people to call friend. You may stay home and do whatever it is you do, alone!
Have a great day.

PS. Happy Easter

You only assume that whatever I "do at home" I do "alone". I just find much more productive and "fun" things to do than join a bunch of wackos worried about nothing.

But hey, at least you are in action...and even if it wasted action at least it is something.

Have fun...
