It is easy to see that your mind has already seen that threat and reacted to it...it is common in the immature Spirit dominated by the bullying mind.

You will never see my way of life forced on others. You will never see anyone subjugated to my way of Being. You will never see my beliefs emboldened on the walls of a Courthouse. You will never see anyone killed for not believing like me. And yet this belief has been around since the beginning of time, yet you cannot point to one travesty of justice, one execution, one sacrifice of life on its behalf. It walks free even under oppression, it lives even in death.

One of the greatest miracles of this existence is at that moment when you can watch the mind instead of becoming the mind.

As for conservatives forcing our beliefs on others, let's look at whose beliefs really HAVE forced their beliefs on others, and it isn't conservatives. Since the 1960s it's all liberals, all the time.

Liberal policies have forced us to accept:

The ability to kill unborn babies, up to the moment of birth
The ability for minors to get abortions without telling their parents
The ability for minors to get birth control pills without telling their parents
The erasure of all religion from federal holidays like Christmas
Politically correct language that hides the true meaning of concepts
Forcing us to not only tolerate gay marriage, but to accept and embrace it
Lowering common standards of behavior and good manners
Rewriting history and teaching falsehoods to our children
Teaching unproven theories to our children as facts
Removing literature from our libraries and schools because it's politically incorrect
Forcing, not just encouraging, diversity and multicultualism
Encouraging and celebrating single motherhood when it is proven to result in poverty
Lowering standards of behavior in our media
Shutting down anyone who wants to present a conservative vewpoint.

Now tell me what conservatives have done within the last 40-50 years. Tell me how we have FORCED our beliefs on society as a whole.

Piney, if you knew anything you would see I post on here for the sheer entertainment value of it...like a video game or interactive movie...but I really don't care about it or your mind. I do, however, care about you, that part of you that exists when the mind is put in its place.

I refuse to see "you" as your mind, so these posts of yours don't really matter. When I reply to them, I am replying to your mind, which acts often like that "insane" person sitting in the corner talking to himself. You can't stop watching although you care little for the conversation.

Liberal policies have not forced us to accept anything. They have allowed others to act in accordance to their place and time. Much like I do with you when you act like an imbecile, you are ALLOWED to be ignorant in those moments. My mind may not agree with those policies, but my spirit understands their place and has no attachment to them. I don't need to be wrapped up in the activities of others, no matter how sad, deplorable, crazy or ignorant those activities may seem to my mind, I can exist with them as they are.

I heard the same exact (or at least close) argument from a liberal friend in her challenge of conservatives. I told her the same thing. And yes, I challenge her on some things as well, and it took her years before she became open to the possibilities. She can now at least laugh at herself when she acts like an imbecile.

And in this awareness I have no need to point out the flaws of conservatism because they simply don't matter. The only time I have ever pointed them out was in a reflection of others, not as a matter of my being.

I can only say that the first major flaw of conservatism (and all ideologies) is that you think too much, know too little, and do even less. This is shared by all of humanity right now, which is one reason the only beings that seem to identify a God or Supreme Being are also the only ones who are nearly destroying the planet. That is an odd irony if ever there was one, and leads me to believe that all other beings on this planet are closer to Being than most humans are.

Wait, you saw facts or "truth" in that post? Well there's the problem right there. It seemed to be a lot of sad, misguided opinions. By far, the best one was "Rewriting history and teaching falsehoods to our children" coming from piney. LOL! Brb, need to take a shower to wash the irony off.

You complain about abortions, but then assault birth control in the next breath? Seems kind of silly, no?

About time religion is erased from the state, since that is what our founding fathers had imagined, right?

No one protests gay marriages any more, right? Everyone accepts it. It wasn't just outlawed in California or anything.

Manner problems sound personal. But hey, throw it up there, I'm sure the state should enact laws regarding manners! If not, we can sure pin it on the liberals!

How can these be facts and truths when they are prefaced by a lie? Nice try, but you will get it.

Sheri, conservatives blame liberals - liberals blame conservatives, but both are so out of tune with their "selves" that they don't realize how much of the blame rests with them. Policies don't drive people to insanity, insanity drives people to policies, whether to blame those policies for their ills or to use them to feed the insanity.

Nope. Read the Constitution. The Founding Fathers believed in a god. Maybe not the exact Christian or Jewish god of the Bible, but they most certianly were not atheists. Remember "our Creator" (capital "C")?

They simply did not want the government establishing an offical church, such as the Church of England. Liberals took it to mean that the government should get rid of all forms of any religious BELIEF, when that was not the intent.

The state has nothing to do with manners. Liberals decided society was too uptight and conservative, so they started lobbing "F" bombs in public, and started putting the occasional "damn" and "hell" into TV sitcoms, movies, books, you name it. Now the "F" bomb is everywhere and little kids scream "eat me" in the schoolyard. About 40 years ago the most common infraction in the schoolroom was chewing gum and talking. Today it's carrying a semi-automatic. Believe me, that change did NOT come from either the state or from conservatives.

Hey, if you want a 12 year old to ask her parents for permission to have birth control, go for it. When 50% of those kids no longer want to use them because they are too afraid of their overbearing parents, don't complain when abortions are up 50%.

You can call it Christmas all you want. No one is stopping anyone from practicing religion. But you don't want to bring the constitution into it.

You would be better off making the argument that the devil was created by liberals. Society is changing, either to your liking or not.
