First, anything posted on a blog is called a "post." For our sake, we can define an "article" as "a written composition in prose, usually nonfiction, on a specific topic, forming an independent part of a book or other publication, as a newspaper or magazine." Your blog, although witty and amusing, is not giving your publications, merely postings.

Next, the good old "everyone is against what I believe so they must be biased" argument. Always a classic. In the original "I Am Legend" book, the Doctor is the last "living" person on the planet. He is in constant struggle with the ever growing "zombie population." Lets call you the Doctor and the rest of the media the zombies. Enjoy the superiority while it lasts. The Doctor believes that the zombies are a vicious group of man-hating demons who would eat him alive if they had the chance. Now, the zombies have their own culture which casts the Doctor as an evil outsider/demon who has killed their own on numerous occasions. The only difference here is that the entire world has changed and the zombies have the only opinion that matters. Since the doctor has no societal norms on which to base his accusations, he is in fact the evil, and the zombies society is the normal, center base. Hence the title "I Am Legend," as the doctor was a legend amongst the zombie culture, not in his own mind.

This is similar to the "crazy man" argument or other scenarios that are portrayed in things like "the twilight zone." If all of the new agencies are biased and spread propaganda, you have no center ground on which to make your assumptions. If you believe you are the only sane man in a world of crazy people, you are in fact the one who is insane. I hope you are keeping up here, this is kind of deep stuff.

During my original post, there were no comments, suggesting that not only was this post terribly biased and un-based, but no one really cared. Now, you can give me the comments of the interlinked blogs, known as the "blogosphere" through "back-linking." That generally gets a bit tricky, as specific blogs keep track of their own comments, authors, author commentary, etc. Still with me?

We could also delve into the association of the word "article" with "objectivity, facts, and non-fiction" through discursive morphology, but I fear that may be getting a bit too complicated for you. In any event, I want you to understand that anyone can post anything on the internet. Just because it is posted does not mean it is intelligent, factual, concrete, unbiased, or amusing. Of these things, your "article" was none. I'm sure you could find something better to post about than the inane ramblings of a cranky bygone whose only outlet is to attempt to demean those who do not agree with him.

Nice job SheriB. I particularly love your reference to "I am Legend", in which we can learn that perspective is an awful powerful illusion. You pointed out something I have tried to on numerous occasions, that OHH and Piney and PR1 are no different than liberals with opposite opinions. Opinions are also a very powerful illusion.

And illusions are mind generated, and when you associate yourself with your mind (as most of us do), we are associating ourselves with illusion. Nearly every single thought, attachment, religion, understanding of reality...hell EVERY mind generated thought and vision are ILLUSIONS. Period.

And the only difference between someone we consider insane from someone we consider sane is the type of illusions they have. The only difference between the insane talking to themselves and the rest of us is that are doing it OUT LOUD. The rest of us have a noisy and ongoing conversation within...but no less insane.

Get used to it, Mr. Technology. Blogs and other online sources are the news reports of the future. So you'd better learn to evaluate them for their factual content now or you'll be completely flummoxed when they become the standard.

It actually began with some of the bailouts. (in my opinion) Yes, Bush was guilty of this too. Yet, Obama and his band of criminals have "kicked it up a notch". The constitution is an unfamiliar piece of paper to the liberals. The firing of GM's ceo, was evidence, in my mind, that the intentions are to take over any and all businesses that are in trouble. Thus backing them with taxpayer funds to enable the left to control everything.

I wish I could spend more time citing sources that back up my feelings. I am a bit too busy today and already had a GREAT zinger at my friend Arius! LOL

I heard a news report about the G-20 Summit that the international community will be influencing a variety of things, including executive pay for United States executives.

And healthcare will be voted on by the Senate within the next few days.
