Isn't there strength in diversity? A nice mix of nutjobs and regular folks is diversity. I thought leftys said people should be tolerant and non-judgemental of other people and their points of view. It's all relative. "Knowing others is wisdom", right. Where is your "tolerance"? Now let's all join hands and sing Kumbaya...

Ah, you said it, but there has to be tolerance of ALL, not just of the nutjobs on your side of the isle, or of what you find acceptable. Don't you find it a bit disconcerting that we can be intolerant by keeping gays from marrying (although thankfully that is going to change), but yet you feel that tolerance must be extended to allow this type of speech from an elected representative (as long as it is a Republican, "tolerance" must be offered)?

Of course not, that is the way it should be, right?

Oh, and we have to have a "nice mix of nutjobs" in this case, but not in all cases, particularly when the "other side" is the ones with the nutjobs, right?

"Supporter" and "Robert Byrd" do not belong in the same sentence for me.

Odd though, that a man proud of a party that has a former drug user failure as it's leader has a problem with a Democrat who was a KKK member.

It is also very odd that a Republican could even spell the word "tolerance". I bet you had to look it up, huh? I bet for a second you thought it meant allow them black folk to ride the bus...

No wonder Limbaugh was high on drugs most of the time...it's to only way he could deal with the lunacy of his philosophy.

Liberals are all for diversity and tolerance -- as long as everyone tows the liberal line. If someone doesn't like homosexuals for ANY reason, liberals claim these people are "intolerant" and condemn them.

Yet liberals don't realize that their "intolerance for intolerance" IS intolerance.

And you can't advocate for tolerance and then be intolerant -- no matter what the reason. Otherwise, you're making a judgment, and that goes against liberal thought, as well.
