The State Agriculture Development Committee's Farmland Preservation Program periodically resells at public auction a number of farms it has purchased and permanently preserved. Thanks njriverman. Glad to hear that these rules are in place to preserve our farmland. I really don't mind using tax dollars to preserve these farms to be used for farming. Don't understand that timber business either. My gripe is the taxpayer money buying up contaminated land at HIGH prices to get the players out of cleaning land at BIG profits. And then flipping them over to the County for more money as Parks.
