Default Anything they can do,

Anything they can do, NJ could do better.

Just think.

Quote:
Jeffrey McCob went to Gardner District Court this week with a $100 ticket hanging over his head.[..]

After making his case to Clerk Magistrate Whitney J. Brown, the Leominster resident was found not responsible and the ticket was dismissed. By challenging the ticket, Mr. McCob lost a couple of hours in travel and court time. [..]

Armed with the knowledge that more than 250,000 tickets for civil motor vehicle infractions were challenged in the state last fiscal year, legislators have voted to charge drivers $25 for such hearings.
PFFFT! If the legislators in Trenton got wind of this: It would cost $50.00 We would all get charged with being a public revenue source while driving.

TRAFFIC FINES, SURCHARGES ARE BIG BUCKS

Is that constitutional? What about "equal access"?

That only applies to heterosexuals...everyone else has to beg for it.

I guess everyone who is innocent has equal access to paying the court tax.

Constitutional? This is in Massachusetts, which is an Indian word meaning "the state of big Kennedy and heap big Taxes."

When I was a kid, Mass had more restrictive gun laws. There was a sign to that effect as we crossed the state line into Mass. on the highway. While on vacation, my dad would say "we are entering Massachusetts. Hide your guns!" HAHAHAHAhaha! Our whole family had a good laugh at that! "Hide your guns!" Dad really cracked us up!

Fast forward xxx years...

But I digress.

What I find disturbing about it is, they collect money from dragging innocent people to court. That provides them an incentive to summon innocent people to court. $It's 25.00 today, and since that doesn't cover the cost...
