Default Surprise Vote. Gun Control.

Quote:
One-Gun-A-Month Surprise Vote Tomorrow In NJ Senate
S. 1774 would prohibit law-abiding citizens from purchasing more than one handgun a month.
That would be today!

A sneaky Surprise Vote?

Quote:
Trenton, NJ - -(AmmoLand.com)- The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is urging all New Jersey firearms retailers and gun owners to call their state senator immediately to voice opposition to S-1774, legislation which would prohibit law-abiding citizens from purchasing more than one handgun a month.

The bill is scheduled for a floor vote tomorrow, Thursday June 25, 2009.

It is imperative that law-abiding citizens let their voices be heard on this issue. This legislation was pulled from a floor vote back in February, but has been pushed by Governor Corzine for a Senate vote as recently as today.
SOB!!!!!!

RESIGN CORZINE!!!!!!

Sneaky Politics Gets One-Gun-A-Month Bill Passed in NJ

Passed. Of course Jon will sign it.

Quote:
Trenton, NJ – -(AmmoLand.com)- At the direction of Governor Jon Corzine the One-Gun-A-Month Bill was added to the doc for voting with less than 24 hours notice and passed by the New Jersey Senate. Now it goes to the Governors desk for signing, so you may have one chance to get him not to, that is if it has not already been signed.

The voting was 47 yes – 28 no.

This was dirty politics at its very worst, not allowing law abiding NJ gun owners any time to contact their representatives and slipping this anti-gun bill into a long list of bills to get it passed.
You can see your representatives true colors and how they voted when not being watched.

Quote:
The Senate scheduled the vote "under the direction of Governor Jon Corzine and with little notice to the public to ensure that New Jersey sportsmen and gun owners were not prepared to defend their Second Amendment rights from gun rationing schemes,'' according to the association's website.

"It targets law-abiding citizens only and does nothing to impact crime, or the source of illegal guns,'' association president Scott L. Bach said before the vote.
THREE DAYS AFTER THE VOTE, NJ.COM Statehouse Bureau finds out and reports on it,

Bill to limit N.J. gun purchases gets legislative approval - NJ.com

So much for government of, by and for the people. It's sad.

This is the only other "news" Google could find:

Ignoring Known Gun Traffickers, Corzine Targets Gun Rights Instead - Scott Bach

Corzine and Codey set to screw law-abiding firearm owners. - NJ Voices Public Blog

Quote:
Contact your Senator immediately on the morning of June 25. Ask them to vote NO on S1774.
Contact Senator Codey's office immediately on the same day and ask him to pull the bill,
(973) 731-6770.
Forgetaboutit. According to the New Jersey Legislature site, it passed on Tuesday the 23rd.

Vote the gangsters out of office. Please.

When you have no credibility, no morals, and absolutely no leadership qualities, this is what they do. Hide behind closed doors and pass whatever they feel necessary to control the taxpayers and get what THEY want at our expense.

This is not even surprising that they did this. That's why "little shits" hide. Because that's all they are.

Mr. Nunici had it right. We need to all get together, walk up to Trenton, and kick their asses.

Oh well, I guess I'll be arrested by the "PC" police for being a terrorist like Mr. Turner for suggesting such an un-PC idea.
