here we go once more! at the most recent redevelopment meeting mr washington declared that he,aj,and one other council member met with the developer after promising openly to the public at a previous council meeting that no meeting would be held with the developer unless the full council was present.

no other way to say this other than we were lied to by the mayor and aj who both emphatically promised this would never happen as it did so often with fenwick commons. the same old bullcrap,the same old players.

more baytops info to follow here and on my blog later today or tomorrow. just waiting for a copy of the letter to council on the topic to reach my grubby little paws.

How many members or PG Counsel are needed to make a quorum? In CP it is 3 committeemen. If 3 members met and it created a quorum, then public notice had to be made in the newspaper (48hrs?) prior to the meeting.

you hit on something i didn't consider, it was the mayor and two council members and i think that is a quorum. but, this is washington town and its his rule,his kingdom and he answers to the public when? never.

but if aj didn't understand "roberts rules of order " enough to explain to the mayor how to conduct a council meeting a few years back then quorum is probably confusing as well.

by the way, i still have the newspaper article with his quote at the time and his three page letter to me trying to explain how he was misquoted.

If 3 is a quorum then it would be appropriate for Frank Santucci to get Mike Mulligan to send a letter to the council. It would be a good idea to keep a record of any other dates of meetings that violate the Open Public Meetings Act, and warn them that the party will take legal action..

and i appreciate your appreciation of me. it's also cool that you and yours bring up things i forget or just don't think about. believe it or not,but,i am not a political animal at all. i just believe in truth and fairness, right and wrong, and have one hell of a big mouth!!!! but, you understand that part , huh? have to write "smiley face " here for self protection!!!
