hands down , penns grove !! most other places have their budgets in place understanding the governor is serious. penns grove just tabled theirs until they get money from trenton. CARAZY!!!!!

I voted for Mayor Washington of Penns Grove as that beautiful town just sinks lower and lower when you think it can't and Mayor Elmer Fudd of Oldmans who blew the COAH and PA5 scenarios.

Judging against what? Other townships? You would have to be knowledgeable about all the townships in order to answer that question.

If we were to judge by our advancement in growth I would say the whole county is run very poorly. We either have leaders who are fearful or they are not that smart. We voted em in and answering this borders on self deprecation.

Taxes,
Trash,
Recreation,
Police,
Keeping promises vs lying,
Intelligence,
Advancement in Growth that you mentioned,
Employment Opportunities
Farm Preservation
etc.

You decide what is important

Btw welcome back Copious. I saw your post slamming "PJI" on the Salem NJ.com board I chose not to debate you, everyone is entitled to a bad day I guess, but I must say I find this board friendlier, more intelligent and lively in discussion and they are MUCH more tolerant here. IMHO.

There was a thread here on the 20 or so advantages of the Penn Jersey forums over nj.com, I'll have to look for it.

I wish Penns Grove could get some positive momentum. Salem City seems to be.

If we can change the power structure on council it can affect the momentum. When the mayor has to be the deciding vote on an issue along with the responsibility I think you'll see a difference. For years he has had his flunky's to cover him.

That's why it's so important to re-elect Mincey and add Roberts to council. These two will research, investigate, demand explanations, before they cast a vote on anything. Hopefully then others will join them.
