If you were watching today I kind of lost my mind and thought I'd defend myself over on nj.com. I was only defending myself against being called a racist, promoting a video posted here, and being labeled a spewer of hate. I was stupid enough to think that either nj.com or our wonderful Sunbeam actually would be interested in truth or facts. That they would act within their own rules to correct such blatant bullshit! My bad!!!
To be honest, that video was a hoot!! I loved it. It showed a smart assed punk with a bigger mouth than he had ass to back up get slapped down by a 67 year old man! To me it had little if anything to do with race, just a well deserved beat down. The old adage of youth and exuberance not overcoming old age and treachery proved to be true, AGAIN! By the way, I was banned for standing up to those false claims made by this many name poster who evidently enjoys his hiding behind any name but his. On nj.com supported by the Sunbeam, evidently you can make any false claim you want against a person but you cannot defend the truth! But then again, that's become the Sunbeams MO. Report half the news, the favorable news to the favored political entities or persons. Operate in a politically biased fashion because you are politically entwined. Forget that under different management you were actually an award winning newspaper and now you are more like TMZ or the "Insider". If the Sunbeam or nj.com are indicative or representative of Salem County then the only problem isn't Penns Grove.

What's really whacked is how back when if we mentioned this site or mine we were banned. Now he/she advertises this site daily and quotes from it daily and it seems to be a good thing! A seven year old could be a more impressive moderator than what their current one is showing! This one doesn't operate by the rules any more than our mayor does! Think maybe they are related? Maybe the same political entity even? Be cool if he/she actually ever had an original thought. Just somebody's problem child needing life lessons and that's the moderator. The poster is probably 17 and has just started the middle school this year. Hell we've been through this before. I just need to be cool before a certain lady friend tells me to do just that. By the way, it's starting to get really muddy in the fields now, please make sure she's got some better fitting boots this year! (:

I am not the "lady" that will tell you to cool down but I can tell you that its not worth your time and energy to respond to it. Report him and his posts will be deleted on nj.com. He seems to enjoy ruining forums.

I did yesterday and they took me down and left his crapola! The racist deal just hit me the wrong way. Somethings just set me off and I have my little rant and then shut up. AND, sometimes it takes a female voice or maybe even a tap on the head and then I really do shut up. Kind of like a little kid in school!!! Feel free! ):

I'm guessing that nj.com is losing readers and like TMZ or any of those gossip/trash rags. they are going to allow anything that is inflammatory just to increase their viewership numbers. But, in essence all they are doing, nj.com and through their affiliation the Sunbeam, are disrespecting the very people they want to support them, have supported them over the years. It's like the TV sweeps week, anything is fair game, anyone is fair game, just for numbers. Just to prove how far they are willing to dig into the landfill they have built.
Look, between this site since it's inception, my former site, we have pulled in better numbers than nj.com ever has on their PG-CP forum. For the majority there has been little if any name calling. Our disagreements have been minor compared to the friendships formed, the opinions shared. I know I've been corrected, been given better information here than ever allowed over there. Censorship has never reared it's ugly head. I banned one person in three years and think this site is about equal to that. There has pretty much always been a mutual respect shown between posters and especially respect for the facts of an issue and the open truth. Both sites have broken news stories that the Sunbeam NEVER printed for political reasons or they had a friend somewhere. Contracts and agreements were posted on both sites to inform the public. Misdeeds by public figures were displayed. Some reports sent from the court room itself. (that one I'm thinking of really pissed off the supposed powers to be) (: That both sites dealt in truth, facts, say's a lot about the site operators and the viewers and the posters. I am proud of both sites and how we've been accepted by the community. We also need to remember Rick and the first PG forum, he's to blame for all of this!! (: So whatever nj.com has become, that's on them and their management style. There is always this option and I think a lot of us think it's a better one.
