Sure we are, the more you emit those gasses the more you pay.
I wonder how much mercury would be present at Kiddie Kollege if the company had to pay a tax on every drop that went into the soil. I wonder how much trash would be in the Pacific if everyone who littered really had to pay for their stupidity. I wonder how much oil would be spilled if companies actually had to pay for what was sent into the environment.
And I wonder how many Superfund sites there would be if pollution was monitored and companies forced to pay a tax on every single contaminant that went into the environment.
