I agree.
So many of my closest friends (and some relatives) worship Obama that I, too, started to wonder if I was the lone crazy in suspecting that he was not what he pretended to be.

For a while there I tried to just sit back and wait to see what unfolded. Everything happened so quickly, though, it shocked the daylights out of me. I really thought it would take him much longer to start implementing his programs.

Between the ideas he is actively funding and those he has the nerve to even consider, I find it hard to believe that everyone else isn't seeing what's going on.

1) Tracking ammunition and limiting its purchase
2) Forcing gun owners to carry $1 million liability insurance (at about $1200/year)
3) Promising a tax cut, then neglecting it.
4) Placing the next generation in more debt than can ever, ever be repaid.
5) Making us vulnerable to nations like China, who don't exactly love us.
6) Forcing universal health care down our throats without any public debate or discussion of its merits or costs.
7) Promising transparency, then preventing the lawmakers and the public from being able to read the bailout and the budget. And screaming that it has to be passed NOW.
8) Promising bipartisanship, then getting his proxies to try to implement budget reconciliation so healthcare can slip through without a super majority.
9) Dissing the Prime Minister of England.
10) Calling terrorism and war something other than what it is, as if that will change anything. (Pure "1984" tactics)
11) Taking over ownership of our banks and private industry.
12) Saying that international law trumps our constitution.
13) Punishing success by taxing it to death.
14) Saying the dollar would no longer be the world currency, then backing away from it. Which is the true statement?
15) Wanting to eliminate the mortgage deduction.
16) Jacking up the estate tax on money that was already taxed, to more than half - thus preventing parents from helping the next generation, who will be totally poor from paying off the debt.
17) Offering to have tea with known terrorist leaders, and pretending they can be reasoned with.
18) Saying Lula is a great man, after Lula made that racist statement.
19) Having his proxies propose "internet-tapping" to find out what we're saying.

And I'm sure I've forgotten more.
