If absolute truth is based on Being, how do you ever know if you are Being?

And if you are never sure you are Being (because of course it could all be an illusion generated by your mindless truth), then you can never be sure that what you are Being is absolute truth.

True “Being” is therefore an unattainable state. Like sinlessness.

The difference is that Being remains eternally unattainable. On the other hand, the God of the Bible tells us that He, in His infinite wisdom, has made provision for the fact that we cannot attain sinlessness (or “Being”) on our own. And since He is God, he is trustworthy.

All we have to do is simply “Be” in Him and the whole point of trying to achieve sinlessness (or “Being”) becomes irrelevant. It has been achieved for us by Someone Who has the power to do it.

Forever.

Makes so much more common sense than mindless, endless navel-gazing, IMHO.
